Texas Woman’s University proudly offers the Master of Science in Accountancy, a forward-thinking, STEM-designated graduate degree that prepares students to meet the demands of today’s financial and strategic environments. The program develops advanced analytical, technological, and professional accounting skills essential for success in a competitive market.
Graduates are well-prepared for diverse careers in public and corporate accounting, financial planning, nonprofit and governmental organizations, health care finance, education, and financial services. The program also supports career advancement for professionals and provides a comprehensive pathway into accounting for students from other business disciplines.
The degree fulfills the academic requirements for leading professional certifications, including the Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Students who complete the MS in Accountancy with a B.B.A. in Accounting will meet the educational criteria for these credentials. Those with non-accounting degrees will also gain the Accounting preparation necessary for certification eligibility.
