Dr. Don Edwards Mathematics and Technology Success Center
The Dr. Don Edwards Mathematics and Technology Success Center (MTSC) assists students in reaching their educational goals through individual or group tutoring and computer-based programs. Located in MCL 307, this center provides tutoring to TWU students enrolled in any courses with mathematics or technology components, taking the computer literacy exam, or preparing to pass the TSI mathematics requirement. Science Learning Resource Center
The Science Learning Resource Center (SLRC) is a free, supportive space designed to help students succeed in their science courses. It offers a welcoming, collaborative environment where students can enhance their understanding of challenging topics through one-on-one tutoring and group study sessions led by trained peer tutors. In addition to tutoring, students have access to useful learning tools, including anatomical models, molecular kits, and other materials commonly used in science labs. SLRC also features a computer lab with printing services, making it a convenient place to study and complete assignments. For added flexibility, students can access 24/7 online tutoring through Tutor.com. The center even provides lab safety gear when needed. The Write Site
The Write Site, TWU's writing resource center, serves the entire University community, including graduate and undergraduate students, faculty, and staff in any discipline. Experienced writing consultants provide individual or group writing assistance in person, via our OWL Live Zoom sessions, and through OWL Post asynchronous/paper drop-off sessions. Consultants offer help at any stage of the writing process (brainstorming, prewriting, drafting, organization, and revision) a well as peer-led writing workshops and classroom support for faculty. Spanish Learning Support
Spanish Learning Support (SLS) is a tutoring community for students enrolled in Spanish classes at TWU. Housed in The Write Site, SLS offers in-person and Zoom tutoring sessions for Spanish class projects and homework, conversation practice, and test preparation. Academic Testing Services
Academic Testing Services supports the mission of Texas Woman’s University by providing professional, quality testing services to students and the community. The testing center follows the National College Testing Association (NCTA) Professional Standards and Guidelines and strives to provide conscientious customer service in a comfortable environment conducive to academic testing.
